Recommend it for couples seeking comfort
The owners were super friendly, going above and beyond for us,, even packing up breakfast items when my partner couldn't make it to the buffet. The room was big and cozy, just what you need after a long day walking.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but given the level of service and comfort, it still felt acceptable.

i woudl ve been thrilled to enjoy my stay, but alas, the staff's disinterest was quite noticeable during check-in. then, the musty smell in my room made things even less enjoyable. i was honestly expecting some complimentary upgrade to match my expectations, but that clearly wasn’t happening. so disappointing!

Clean and spacious bathrooms provided a nice touch.
I had an unpleasant experience with the staff's rudeness. The breakfast setup felt overly restrictive, and I was reprimanded for taking a piece of bread. Overall, it seemed like they were more focused on rules rather than guest comfort.

The room was very clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a long day of walking. The air conditioning worked effectively, which was much needed. On the downside, breakfast options were quite limited and chaotic, with too many carbs and a lack of substantial choices like eggs. Additionally, the reception staff did not provide the warmest welcome, which left a bit to be desired.

The room was recently refurbished with modern decoration, and the foldable bunks provided an ingenious solution for space. Breakfast offered a nice variety of hot and cold drinks, cakes, bread, cheeses, and smoked meats, making it a pleasant start to the day.
The acoustic isolation was lacking, leading to noise disturbances from adjacent guests.

Helpful staff and great kitchen access
The staff was super accommodating during our stay! They helpfully provided laundry service that we greatly appreciated after a long day of walking. The kitchen setup was a nice touch, allowing us to prepare meals easily, and breakfast options offered a good mix to start the day right. However, the breakfast area could be better organized during busy times to improve the overall experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! The location was perfect for exploring local sights. We strolled around the historic district and checked out the nearby beach. The staff was friendly, and the room was spotless. Breakfast was decent with a good selection, making it a great start for our adventures.
But we did have issues with noise from outside, which made it hard to sleep through the night.

This was just a nice choice for a short break in A Guarda with excellent value for money. The front desk staff helped me locate local eateries which made dining much easier. Consider visiting the nearby supermarket for snacks instead of relying solely on breakfast offerings.
